New Scale Technologies has named Bruce Hayward to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer at the high-tech motion systems design and manufacturing company near Rochester, NY.
Hayward brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in manufacturing environments at global companies including Gleason Corporation and United Technologies. His experience spans operations, sales, engineering, supply chain, service, and finance. He was most recently Senior Director of US Service – East at Transcat, a provider of calibration and test services and instruments for precision measurement.

Hayward has a BS in Accounting and Finance from Western Michigan University and an MBA in Manufacturing Leadership from Rochester Institute of Technology.
